Easter is Coming!

Easter is coming soon. We will be having five experiences Easter Weekend at LifeChurch.tv in Hendersonville.

Saturday April 3: 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM

Sunday April 4: 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM

Make a list of the people you want to invite and let them know we will be having the final week of our series: Red Letter Day and Craig will be preaching a special message, "Today you will be with me in Paradise".

You will not want to miss this weekend and if you invite people to come on Easter, the changes are really good that they will come. See you here!

Venture

Have your kids here each week of the series, Venture, as they go on a trip through the pages of the Bible to discover what this amazing book has to do with their lives today!

Baptism Bash - March 6 & 7

One of the very first steps that Jesus asks all of us to take is to be baptized. Getting baptized can seem confusing, but it is really just moving in obedience to say that your life has been changed and that you have stepped into the forgiveness of Christ. Baptism is something that Jesus himself did, and if you want to hear more about it, we can share with you a video by our Senior Pastor Craig Groeschel or you can just ask one of us here in Hendersonville.

Here at LifeChurch we baptism in creeks, in oceans, lakes, back-yard pools and also during our weekend experiences. Heart to Heart

Join us this Sunday, February 28th for "Heart to Heart"

This special couples event will be a great night to meet new friends, but we will also hear from other couples, just like you, about how God has brought them through some of the challenges of life.

We will start at 6:00 PM and child care will be available. Food, fun, fellowship all in one great evening! Event will officially end at 7:30 PM but some of the contacts and friends you'll make may last a lifetime.

Compassion Trip to Ecuador

I just returned from a trip to Ecuador with a group of LifeChurch.tv pastors as well as some folks from Compassion International. The opportunity was to visit three different Compassion Centers in Quito and Otavalo Ecuador and open our hearts to see what God is doing among the poorest of poor.

You may be familiar with Compassion International and their Child Sponsorship Program if you have been to a Christian Concert in the past with Michael W. Smith likely being the most visibile. Compassion provides assistance to over one million children in over 25 countries.

My trip to Ecuador was literally life-changing. Rarely have I had the chance to be able to see first hand how the cooperation of a local church in Ecuador, sponsors in the United States and other countries and Compassion International can significantly change not only the life of a child and their family but a community as well.

It all starts with a child.

Moral Margin

This weekend, Pastor Craig is going to close out the Margin sermon series by discussing the importance of creating moral margin in our lives. While there are many different facets of morality, Craig has chosen to focus on sexual immorality in this message due to the fact that sexual sin impacts so many people and typically has long-lasting effects.

In this message, we are going to learn the way to create moral margin is to simply put distance between ourselves and temptation. This week's message is rated PG-13 and parents may want to consider whether their children should be in LIfeKids or in the auditorium.

Talk it over with your LifeKIDS! Each week, your Toon Town kids will receive a card with something to do related to what they learned this week. Encourage your kid to take the step on the card to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Be sure to sign the card and have your kid bring it back the following week to earn 10,000 points at the Bank in Toon Town.

Compassion for the people of Haiti

Bringing help and hope to people is a tangible expression of God's love. Compassion offerings fight poverty, provide crisis relief, and bring freedom to the oppressed. As we meet individuals at their point of need, we communicate an eternal truth: that every person on this earth matters to God.

This weekend we'll have an opportunity to provide needed help, compassion and crisis relief to the people of Haiti by giving through LifeChurch.tv's Compassion offering. LifeChurch.tv will be providing direct financial aid to the people of Haiti and indirectly through our partner ministries including Convoy of Hope and Samaritans Purse that have the infrastructure that is needed for this type of relief effort.

LifeKIDS will be open for children from newborn through 5 years during the Christmas Eve experiences. Your six through twelve year old can attend the experience with you.

At these Christmas experiences, you'll have an opportunity to take part in a special offering for our Compassion Ministries. The money given during the Christmas Experiences will be used all year long to help people around the world with poverty, our missions efforts and feeding and clothing the poor. We're excited to see what God will do!

Year-End Giving

Marriage Dynamics

One of the ministries that does a GREAT job in restoring marriages is Marriage Dynamics out of Franklin TN. I've known about them for a while and recommend them highly.

If you are interested in getting trained to lead marriage enrichment courses in NASHVILLE, TN the training is THREE MONTHS AWAY! The dates are March 12-14!!! There are limited spots available so if you would like to attend please let them know!
