Action LifeGroups

The Spring season is a great time to connect with people while doing something fun outdoors, so that's why we're forming Action Groups! What kind of activity would you like to participate in? Golfing, bicycling, walking, gardening, landscaping? Action Groups will be posted at www.findalifegroup.tv, so you can find one that's right for you.

If you would like to start an Action Group, or if your current LifeGroup would like to change directions for a season, just follow the steps below!

1. Define your Action Group
Decide what type of group (golfing, cycling, running, gardening, landscaping, etc)
you would like to lead. Decide when and where your group will meet.

2. Apply for Action Group
Fill out the LifeGroup Leader Application. Applications available at the LifeGroups table in the lobby.

3.Publicize your Action Group
List your group online at www.findalifegroup.tv.

4. Promote your Action Group
Designate a time to be at the LifeGroups table in the lobby during weekend
experiences to recruit people for and to promote your group.

5. Activate your Action Group
Start the group and have fun meeting new people and developing community.

Fighting for Women Worldwide, March 27

Marked is an event raising awareness and funds for organizations working on behalf of women around the world. Among the beneficiaries of the event is our community partner Spero:Voice, that serves international refugees from war-torn countries who have resettled in Oklahoma City.

Marked will be held at Bridgeway Church on Saturday, March 27th, 2-10pm. Admission is $10. There will be activities for children, social justice classes, and live music/concert. Celebration of Hope with local artist Marcy Priest starts at 7:00pm, followed by the Waterdeep concert at 8:30pm. For more information visit www.markedokc.wordpress.com.

Easter Experiences

Easter weekend is April 2-4, so please invite your friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers to attend one of the experiences offered Friday-Sunday. We will continue the series, Red Letter Day, and learn from Jesus' last words on the cross. In that moment, we gained incomparable freedom and peace--something truly worth celebrating this Easter!

What's Next Class Begins April 11

Discover how to apply the Bible to your real life situations and relationships. This class is available for new believers and anyone who wants to gain foundational knowledge in their faith.

Going Green

Our campus is going green! God is making a tremendous difference in people's lives at our campus. As we work together to care for our community, we can extend those efforts by taking care of the environment. At the NW Oklahoma City Campus, we're finding ways to be better stewards of the resources God has given us, and you can help!

It's easy - we're starting with recycling! You'll find recycle bins located throughout the campus for beverage containers and talk notes.

Beverage container recycling:- Please recycle plastic (number 1-7) and aluminum
- Please empty all liquids into a trash can before placing item in recycling bin

Talk notes and paper recycling:- If you don't reuse your talk notes, feel free to recycle by placing them in the Paper Only bins.
- Any mixed paper can be placed in the paper recycling bins or in the Paper Retriever dumpster in the parking lot (no cardboard or phone books please).

Join the Green Team! Want to make a bigger impact? Volunteers will implement and maintain the recycling program at our campus, so we need you. Email NOCgreenteam@lifechurch.tv for more information.

CONVERGE, Last Tuesday of the Month
Converge is for all musicians, singers, and audio/visual people who want to develop their skills and talents. Join us in worship, prayer, artistic community, and breakout training sessions the last Tuesday of the month from 6:30-9:00pm.

Talk it Over With Your Kids

Talk it over with your LifeKIDS! Each week, your Toon Town and LOOP kids will receive a card with something to do related to what they learned this week. Encourage your kid to take the step on the card to grow in their relationship with Jesus. Be sure to sign the card and have your kid bring it back the following week to earn 10,000 points at the Bank in Toon Town or a special prize in the LOOP.

Mondays of Mercy

Our mission partner Mercy Ministries has joined forces with the Spero Project and is now the Spero:Resource Center. The teams have merged their passion for ministering to those in need and have formed a unified organization with exciting plans to lift people out of poverty through specialized training, activities, and events. This year, the NW Oklahoma City campus is committing to serving at the Spero:Resource Center every Monday from 6:00-8:30pm.

From packaging groceries to praying with clients to helping with clean up, there's something for everyone. This is a great opportunity for your LifeGroup, your family, your co-workers, or yourself to serve on a regular basis!

Join the Hospitality Ministry

Here at the NW Oklahoma City we want to serve our church when they experience the loss of a loved one, illness in the family, or birth of a child. Our Hospitality Ministry will provide meals and pastoral care for people during difficult times. More than meals are needed! Hospital visits, care packages (books, games, snacks) for families staying with loved ones in the hospital, acts of service, notes of encouragement, prayer - the list is endless! Please pray how God can use you to minister others through Hospitality.
